The Nautical Club of Milos (NOM)
NOM is a sailing and racing-competition club that operates in Adamas, the port of Milos with the purpose of promoting sailing-sports in Milos. It has at its disposal several lanes for both swimming and sailing and employs several experienced trainers. The NOM swimming team has come 3rd and 4th in regional competitions and 4th in Pan-Hellenic swimming competitions. Training Courses - summer-season: Swimming Sailing Optimist - Laser - 12-footer Life-Saving Survival in the Sea Basic Principles of Life-Saving First-Aid Swimming Lessons for Adults Swimming Instruction Kinesitherapy   (treatment of neck, back and knee-pains,   tendinitis, arthritis, rheumatism) Offshore Sailing School For 2012, NOM is planning to offer offshore sailing courses with a coach coming from Creta by his own boat. The duration of the program is 4 weeks: 24/9/2012 - 21/10/2012. All training programs can be attended by both regular members of NOM as well as by nonmembers for a nominal fee.
