Further down form Papikinou there are the beaches Kanava and Aliki and right after the turn towards Megalo Vouno (Great Mountain) there are two long extending sandy beaches, one next to the other. One is always busy and the other is more secluded and quiet.
On the other side of the road there is a small lake full of clams, which are the reason for the area's name. On the side of the lake there is also a spring of drinkable water.
