Aphrodite of Milos

Sarakiniko Isolated Beach

Following the main road towards Plaka you will find a sign with crossroads leading to Sarakiniko.  Its name was taken because pirates used the place as refuge. You can still see the bollards sculptured on the soft, white rocks.

The massive white, soft rocks of Sarakiniko make one feel as if they are on the moon. There is also a tiny beach that facilitates the access to the green-blue water.
